Introduction: We seek individuals who can fit into an enthusiastic, achievement-oriented team committed to providing our town
with excellence in policing. You must be versatile and adaptable. As a police officer you will interact with people in
a wide variety of circumstances, which at times, may be highly unpredictable. Good judgment and exemplary behavior are essential.
The duties of a Police Officer are varied. Your assignment may range from regular patrol to working on community problems
such as youth gangs or drug violations in the neighborhood. A significant part of police work is community relations, and a
large percentage of a Police Officer's time is spent dealing directly with citizens.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Age 21
- U.S. Citizen
- High School Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency Diploma
- Valid Drivers License
- High Moral Character
- Good Physical Condition
- Good Communication Skills
- Self-initiative
