October 25th- Elkton Police responded to the Dollarland Store located on South Bridge Street around 5:30 PM for a reported robbery. Upon arrival officers were advised that a Hispanic male had entered the store dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask over his face to secret his identity. The suspect approached the clerk and demanded that she open the cash register. When she indicated that she could not the suspect became irritated, reached over the counter and opened the register himself, removing all the cash.
He then fled the area in a dark colored vehicle with approximately one hundred dollars in cash.

October 29th- An employee of Terumo Medical Corporation was seriously injured during an unprovoked assault by a co-worker around 2 AM. The victim, transported to Christiana Hospital with serious head trauma reported to authorities that he and the co worker had been working in an isolated portion of the plant when without provocation; he took a large pipe type wrench and began beating him with it, striking him numerous times in the head and upper torso. His attacker then left work and drove to his residence in Delaware where he was later arrested by Delaware authorities without incident.
